PRO Funding Sources

DCJS Funding Sources for the PRO Program

• Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention - Title II - Local cash match 0% - Title V - Local cash match 50%.

• Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant  (JAIBG) - Local cash match 10%.

• Justice Assistance (JAG) Grant Program - Local cash match 25%.

Other Funding Sources for the Program

• Local county and city governments.

Division of Criminal Justice Services currently funds 42 PRO's in the state of West Virginia:

• 17 PRO's are funded through Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program funds.

• 11 PRO's are funded through Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG) program funds.

• 13 PRO's are funded through Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Title II grant funds.
   
• 1 PRO Liaison Officer is funded through the Juvenile Justice Delinquency Prevention grant funds.
   

Grant funds cover the following expenditures:

• Salary
• Training and Travel
• Equipment
• Materials
